Regular planned dental cleanings allow your pet to maintain a healthy mouth environment which results in a better overall health of your dog or cat.  Upon admission to the hospital for a dental cleaning, your dog or cat is given a pre-anesthetic examination by the veterinarian to deem them a good candidate for anesthesia.  Pre-anesthetic blood testing is performed after being given consent and an IV catheter is placed in your pet’s forearm, again if consented.
